Meet Michelle

Michelle is a wildlife photographer, passionate birder, and avid kayaker from Northwest Ohio whose love of nature led her behind the camera. Since 2020, kayaking has been one of her favorite ways to explore the outdoors, offering a peaceful and unique perspective of the natural world. Many of her photographs are captured from her kayak, where quiet waterways provide close encounters with birds and wildlife that might otherwise go unnoticed.

In 2025 she discovered birding and quickly became captivated by the beauty, diversity, and unique behaviors of the birds around her. Wanting to preserve those remarkable moments and share them with others, she began pursuing wildlife photography in May 2026.

Although relatively new to photography, Michelle is dedicated to continually developing her skills while documenting the incredible wildlife found throughout Northwest Ohio and beyond. Her work focuses on capturing authentic moments that showcase both the beauty of birds and the stories they tell in their natural habitats.

Growing up in Northwest Ohio fostered a deep appreciation for the region's diverse landscapes and abundant wildlife. Many of her photographs are created close to home, demonstrating that extraordinary wildlife experiences can often be found just outside our doors.

Through her photography, Michelle hopes to inspire others to slow down, spend time in nature, and discover the remarkable beauty that surrounds them every day.
